Cold Sores ( Fever Blister )

Caused of cold sores or fever blister is herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1), and give manifestation in lips. Cold fever (fever blister) find in 3 or 10 day after exposure and still remain up to 3 weeks.
The virus (HSV-1) keep in dormant phase and waiting until triggered by cold, fever or viral infection, sun and wind exposed, menstruation, stress or depression of immune system, high concentration of amino acid arginine.

There are 6 stages of development cold sore. First stage have no symptom but prickling or itchiness can be found around affected area. Stage two, swelling start and become slightly red in that area. Stage three is first sign of blister or blisters. Stage four, blisters come painful begin on fourth day. Stage five ulcer of soft crust form can be find form cold sore, this stage usually last for four day. stage 6 or last stage, begin on or around 10 day, give sore red and slightly swollen but no hard scab.
